Ram X-Power w/3-in-1 X Module 2003-2004 Dodge [1054510XM3]    


The new X-Power Ram module offers new technology in performance for the Common Rail fuel systems on the 2003 and up Dodge 5.9L Diesels, including the 600 series.  The X-Power achieves performance gains by altering the duration timing of the injection pulse and not by increasing the rail pressure which has been know to cause fuel leakage and damage.  The X-Power also makes for an easy installation by connecting to the factory injector plugs and MAP sensor. 


The X-Power Ram module had four adjustable preset power levels that produce increases of up to 160 HP!  Included with the X-Power module is the Power Dial which gives progressive performance control and comes with a color coded decal.

To make a complete performance installation, we suggest installing the X-Monitor digital gauge pack to let you know what temperatures and pressures your engine and transmission are producing to help prevent any damage.  Also available is the Low Fuel Pressure LED Alarm Kit that will alert you if you are developing too low of fuel pressure that can damage the Common Rail fuel system. 

What good is all this new power if you can`t monitor it? Enter BD`s X Monitor. Its readout mounts inside a nice module that is positioned on the driver`s side A-pillar. Seen are all three functions at the same time: transmission temperature, exhaust temperature and turbo boost pressure. All three have limits, and these numbers are downloaded into the X Monitor. When any are met or exceeded, the monitor face flashes a warning that can`t be missed.

• The peak operating levels can be set to flash warning for safety.

Peak levels are saved in memory and can be viewed after a run. The exhaust temperatures are monitored with a Pyrometer probe inserted in the exhaust flow. The probe can be mounted before of after the turbocharger. If mounted after the turbo the temperatures will vary from 300 F to 1000 F. If mounted before the turbo temperatures of 300 F to 1200 F will be normal working levels. Select the temperatures that should not be exceeded and the numbers will flash when it is attained. It is hard to have too much turbocharger boost pressure but if you have too little under a hard pull the result can be high operating temperatures. Transmission oil temperatures will reflect how hard you are working the transmission. The oil begins to break down quickly once it reaches 270 F. Higher temperatures cause transmission life to shorten, set the limit at the 250 F and increase the operating life. We can also monitor the fuel transfer pump pressure on the ISB electronic engines. A Pyrometer to monitor exhaust temperatures. The Turbo Boost gauge keeps track of a turbo pressures. A Back Pressure gauge monitors exhaust brake performance. An Oil Temperature gauge will insure that you are aware of how well your transmission is functioning.
